2. User Agreement

By registering with your mobile number, you agree to allow us to use this number to manage tasks assigned to you. AssignIt requests access to your camera, microphone, gallery, files, and contacts to enable content sharing and task assignments within the tool. Granting these permissions is essential for full app functionality.

3. Contact Synchronization

AssignIt requests access to your contacts solely to assist with assigning tasks and enabling collaboration with other users. Contact data may be stored securely on our backend to support features like task assignments and suggestions. This data is:

Used only for internal features within the AssignIt app
Stored securely and accessed only by authorized systems
Never shared, sold, or disclosed to any external parties

4. Brand Ownership

The AssignIt name is a trademark owned by our parent company, and we are actively seeking trademark protection for it. The AssignIt logo was custom-designed for our brand and is protected as part of our intellectual property.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works based on AssignIt’s branding, name, logo, user interface, or content without our prior written permission.

5. Prohibited Use

You agree not to misuse AssignIt or engage in any activity that may:

Breach any applicable law or regulation
Attempt to reverse-engineer or duplicate the app’s functionality
Harm the integrity, performance, or availability of AssignIt or its services

6. Limitation of Liability

AssignIt and its parent company shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. You use the app at your own discretion and risk.

Privacy Policy

Mobile Number – to manage your account and assign tasks
Contacts – for internal task assignment and collaboration features
Camera & Microphone – for capturing media within tasks
Gallery & Files – for uploading or sharing task-related content
Basic device information – for app performance and compatibility

2. Usage of Data

Mobile Number: Used for login, user identification, and task assignment.
Contact Synchronization: Contacts may be stored in our backend to power task assignment and collaboration features. We ensure this data is stored securely and used only within the app.
Camera, Microphone, Gallery, and Files: Accessed only when the user initiates content sharing for task-related purposes.

3. Data Security

We take strong measures to protect your personal information. Data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption and access controls. Only authorized systems or personnel may access it when required for app functionality.

4. No Sharing with Third Parties

AssignIt does not sell, rent, or share your personal data — including mobile number, contacts, or media — with third parties. Your information is used solely to deliver app features and improve service quality.

5. Account Deletion

Users can request the deletion of their AssignIt account by sending an email to hello@assignit.in.

Upon receiving the request:

Your account will be deactivated, and you will receive a confirmation email
All associated projects, tasks, and user data will be permanently deleted from our systems within 30 days
A final email will be sent confirming that your account and data have been fully removed

6. Changes to Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. You will be notified of major updates via email or in-app notification. Continued use of AssignIt after such changes implies your acceptance of the revised terms.
